Pano Tuner — Privacy Policy

Android app · com.soundlim.panotuner · Effective 30 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Kaleloft LLC (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the Pano Tuner app for Android (the “App”). It applies only to the Android app; our iOS apps have their own policies.

The short version

1. Who we are

Data controller: Kaleloft LLC, 2108 N St, Ste N, Sacramento, CA 95816, USA. Contact: support@kaleloft.com.

2. Microphone & audio

Pano Tuner uses your device’s microphone solely to analyze the pitch of incoming sound in real time so it can show you the note and how in-tune it is. This processing happens entirely on your device. We do not record, retain, upload, or share any audio, and the audio is never used for advertising or any other purpose.

3. Information collected, and by whom

SourceDataPurpose
Google AdMob (Google LLC) — ads Advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID), approximate location derived from IP address, device and OS information, and ad-interaction/usage data. To display ads that keep the App free, and (with consent) to make them more relevant; fraud prevention.
Google Play Billing (Google LLC) — purchases Purchase/entitlement status for the “full version” upgrade. Google processes the payment; we do not receive your card or payment details. To unlock the purchased upgrade and restore it across your devices.
Google Play — app diagnostics Aggregated, app-wide crash and “not responding” statistics (Android Vitals). Collected by Google from devices that share usage & diagnostics with Google. To find and fix stability problems. The App itself collects no crash data.

We use no other analytics or advertising SDKs. (A reference SDK-level disclosure is also maintained at our iubenda policy.)

4. Advertising & your choices

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the App uses Google’s consent mechanism to ask for your choice before loading ads. You can revisit this at any time via Settings → Reset privacy consents in the App. You can also limit ad personalization in your device’s Google settings (“Ads”), or reset your Advertising ID there. Choosing non-personalized ads does not remove ads; it only makes them less tailored.

5. How we use information

6. Legal bases (GDPR)

We rely on your consent for personalized advertising and any non-essential trackers; contractual necessity for in-app purchases; and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the App (including non-personalized ads and aggregate diagnostics), balanced against your rights. Where required, legal obligation is the basis for compliance-related processing.

7. Sharing & international transfers

We share data only with the service providers above, who act as independent controllers or our processors: Google (AdMob, Google Play). These providers may process data in the United States and other countries; such transfers rely on the providers’ own safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses). We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the consented ad mechanism described above.

8. Data retention

We do not maintain our own database of your personal data. Data held by Google (advertising, purchases, diagnostics) is retained according to Google’s policies. Consent choices are stored on your device.

9. Your rights

EEA/UK (GDPR): you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and may object to processing or withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of “sale”/“sharing” — note we do not sell personal information; ad personalization is governed by the consent control above. To exercise any right, email support@kaleloft.com.

10. Children

The App is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will address it.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the “Effective” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the App or store listing.
